Sweet, creamy, and filling, this trio feels completely indulgent. The combination of fiber, healthy fats, and protein are sure to get you over any 3pm slump. Plus, the vitamin C in raspberries increases your body's fat-burning ability, according to research in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition. Combine a single-serving container of Greek yogurt, a cup of raspberries, and a half-tablespoon of honey.
Salad — You really can’t go wrong with low-carb vegetables, especially with mixed greens as the base. Add some bacon bits, hard-boiled egg, and/or parmesan cheese for extra fat and protein. Use a homemade full-fat keto dressing or something simple like extra virgin olive oil to add even more fat. Need some inspiration? Here are some delicious keto salads you can try: Charred Veggie and Fried Goat Cheese Salad, Crispy Pork Salad, Oven Roasted Caprese Salad, and Spinach Watercress Keto Salad.

Though avocado toast has become something of a cliché, it's popular for a reason—a slice of hearty toast spread with creamy avocado, drizzled with a bit of olive oil, and sprinkled with salt makes a simple, filling, and tasty snack (or breakfast!). If you need a little more excitement than what the basic formula offers, we've got plenty of different ways to give it a twist. One of our favorites is this bright vegan version, which gets its springtime vibe from sweet baby peas, slivers of crisp radish, and fresh basil.

Um… since when were fruit gummies NOT associated with NYE?? Haha. I must say, I do so appreciate the rigorous research you put into the perfect New Year’s recipe for us! 🙂 I like to think that the sugar coating resembles the sparkle of champagne. Nice random fact! Why am I not surprised that you knew of your fruit-sweetened calling before you could practically walk? 🙂 And good for your for sticking it to autocorrect until it just gave up. If “dummy” is saying something, then what is “mummy” telling you?? That’s a thinker, folks! Two flavors, one for each agar. I can get on board with that! Alright, before I forget my train of thought, I just wanted to say… these photos are INSANE. And by insane, of course, I mean AWESOME. These little fruit snacks came out so beautifully. Send me a batch or two? 🙂 xoxo
I make this pudding when I want something indulgent tasting, but don’t feel like eating a ton of sugar. I love mixing carob powder and cocoa powder for a more complex chocolate flavour. The carob powder also adds a natural sweetness as an added bonus. If you don’t have carob, I suggest using a bit more cocoa powder and sweetener since it will be less sweet without the carob. Serve cold or heated up!
Snack foods can be one of the trickiest things for new vegans to figure out but with a little creativity there are plenty of yummy and healthy foods to keep your energy levels humming until your next meal. Try these quick and easy vegan snack ideas to help keep hunger at bay, enjoy some delicious food and get in plenty of nutrition. This list includes quick snack ideas, easy vegan recipes and the best healthy packaged snacks.

Don’t forget the easiest, healthiest snack of all: raw fruits and vegetables. Keep a fridge full of fresh produce and you’ll automatically be prompted to snack well. A few of my favourites are frozen grapes, cucumbers, carrots, snap peas, apples, bananas and in the summer fresh berries. You can always pair with them nuts and seeds to make a more substantial snack.
While chili may seem like a main dish, a small scoop of this keto variety can provide you enough protein (almost 3 grams!) to keep you going. "Use an Instant Pot for great fast cooking," says Suzanne Ryan, author of Beyond Simply Keto. To make it, brown your ground beef and sausage, saving half the fat drippings. Chop one green bell pepper and ½ onion. Pour meat, fat, veggies, canned ingredients and spices into your instant pot, and cook for 40 minutes. (This is also a great keto meal-prep recipe to have on hand.)
One is sweetened with maple syrup (or any liquid sweetener), and the other is sweetened with jam. I used a fruit juice sweetened jam in my fave flavor–blueberry. I am partial to the jammy version as it has better texture and extra fruit flavor, but I wanted to give you options. Plus some flavors (ahem…orange) aren’t easy to find in a jam. Both of the recipes can serve as templates for making any flavor you like. Just switch up the type of juice or jam and you can have snacks of just about any fruity sort.
If eating a popsicle at breakfast seems out of the ordinary, know that this one hides several healthy breakfast ingredients: yogurt, fruit, and granola. Make a batch on the weekend, and pop one out each day for a tasty healthy snack to eat as you’re getting dressed. Make a “cup” at the base of the pop with a piece of aluminum foil large enough to catch up wayward drips.
I made those today with lime flavour. I wanted sour candy and didn’t have citric acid… but now it’s in a mold (same kind of mold you used) in the fridge. I tried to get it out of the mold, but it’s not possible. it breaks. So is there a better way to get it out or didn’t I use enough agar-agar? Or is it not long enough in the fridge yet… what did I do wrong?
There's nothing better than the addictively delicious Italian treat. Simple chop up tomatoes — try to remove as many seeds and juice as possible so the toppings aren't too wet — throw in some finely minced garlic, basil, salt, and pepper, and a touch of balsamic. Refrigerate while you toast and break apart bite-sized pieces of fiber-rich bread. Then top each golden bread-bite with the toppings. Take a bite and enjoy!
NO….well..the only modification i did was to change the 1/2 cup of chia seeds (cause i didnt have those) for 1/2 half of mixed seeds. I put the seeds, the water, grated onion and garlic and some herbs…. they are reallly tasty tough! i really loved them! i was just expecting it to be like crakers….i was thinking that maybe i missed some flour or sth similar that allows the mix to hold together…. what you think?

This is one of my favourite quick snacks, that is if you bake the acorn squash ahead of time. I like to include one or two baked acorn squash in my weekly food prep so they’re ready for snacks and meals during the week. My favourite fillings are peanut butter, yogurt and granola but you can also fill them with savoury ingredients like hummus, guacamole, quinoa, black beans, any mixture of those or anything else you can think of.

Veggies and Dip – Veggies and dip is a quick snack that you can take on the go.  We love cucumbers, green or red peppers, and broccoli dipped in ranch dressing.  Be sure to avoid “low-fat” dressings, as they usually have more carbohydrates than full-fat dressing.  Be sure to have a few small, travel-safe containers on hand so that you can bring dressing or dip on-the-go.

For many women, dieting equals food restriction. Snacks? They usually get eliminated in the name of saving calories. But snacking when you're watching your weight is actually a good idea. "[When dieting,] people often wait too long in between meals, so by the time they eat, they're so hungry, their portions or choices are out of control," says Linda McLachlan, RD, CDN, a New Jersey dietitian with Nutrition Matters, LLC. "Snacking helps keep you satisfied and wards off cravings." Here, seven low-calorie snacks to help you with your diet goals.
